Wonder

O Lord my God,

When I in awesome wonder

Consider all

The works Thy Hand hath made,

I see the stars,

I hear the mighty thunder,

Thy pow’r throughout

The universe displayed;

When through the woods

And forest glades I wander

I hear the birds

Sing sweetly in the trees;

When I look down

From lofty mountain grandeur

And hear the brook

And feel the gentle breeze;

Then sings my soul,

My Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!

Then sings my soul,

My Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come,

With shouts of acclamation,

And take me home,

What joy shall fill my heart!

Then I shall bow

In humble adoration

And there proclaim,

“My God, how great Thou art!”

Then sings my soul,

My Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!

Then sings my soul,

My Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!

What a glorious version of this beautiful hymn. My favorite part is the

“When I in awesome wonder

Consider all

The works Thy Hand hath made”

I remember singing this hymn with 20 other teenage girls when I was about 16. We were laying on a big rock in Lake Tahoe, California. It was dark outside and we had just shared our testimonies of Jesus Christ. We all laid there in the peace of nature. We looked up at the stars and I was touched by the message of this hymn.

Thanks to Carrie Underwood for sharing her talents and her testimony through this beautiful song.
